Landscape Lighting Design Help From Captain Matt. Captain Matt here, it's 2023 a brand new year! I did a lot of videos last year and I'd like to jump into doing a few different things this year. One of those things is going to be some design help from Facebook groups, emails, or messages I get, not full blown designs but real quick overviews. Different artists have different techniques, I design to level 11. Usually when I give design help people get frustrated because I want them to do more than they want to do or what they think is necessary. However, that's the way I was taught to design, design what you want to do and figure out how you're going to do it afterwards. I'm going to start a new series, maybe once a month or once a week, just to see what I would design in different situations. My Favorite Artist and Some of his Original Pieces Captain Matt here, I wanted to share some art I got from this artist Chance Hart. My mentor, who collects art, told me "when you see something and you fall in love with it, you're not going to be able to describe it and you're going to want everything they make". I saw this one, Self Portrait, and I messaged him that I wanted the original and not a print. I also got the original of the one that went viral. Take downs have begun, don't get left in the dark! Christmas Lights are Coming Down! 😱 Captain Matt here! Christmas is over and I just want to thank all of you guys for supporting my company again this year, it means the world to me that I can do what I'm so passionate about which is outdoor lighting. If you don't know I do illumination portraits outside for architectural lighting and landscape lighting, it's amazing and it will change your life! She is a beauty! Tree All Dolled Up for Christmas!  Captain Matt here in Albany at the CapCom Financial Center. They just got this tree put in, its branches are still super soft. We're going to make it a magical environment! Setting up for Make A Wish at Hanger 743!  We're here at Hanger 743 today setting up for a Make A Wish celebration. We've never decorated a hanger before, it was pretty fun figuring out what we're going to do in here. We obviously brought face hole cutouts, we wrapped a couple of beams in the ceiling, bistro lights in the center, and smart lighting above the bar. We've got most of the crew here, and Bill from Make A Wish with his light up suit on. We set up a bunch of amazing Christmas decorations here, we have photo ops and selfie stations.
