Finding a Note From My Uncle Who Died Last Year. I just finished up my morning routine and i wanted to share something cool with you guys. One of the events I did was called Sole Purpose, it's all about finding more about who your are and what your purpose is. One of the tasks was to ask a bunch of people, people I pay, people who pay me, family, friends, anyone I know basically, for notes. I was going through them and I found one from my Uncle Carl who died last Christmas season. I felt so blessed that I still have this note from him because I asked. How many people in our lives do we not tell what we think of them, what we see inside of them, what strengths we see inside of them, or what we think they can achieve that we can all see from the outside. Because sometimes daily life just gets kind of cloudy, you can easily lose sight of your passion and that fire that is burning inside of you. People around you aren't dealing with that stuff so they can more easily see your pass

Latham is Shining a Little Brighter Tonight! I'm here in Latham finishing up a job tonight. We did a couple of branch wraps, and the rooflines. The lights look amazing with their cedar roof shingles. They're right off of Exit 9! Trustco Bank Christmas Lights I'm here at Trustco Bank in Clifton Park right off of Exit 9 today putting up their decorations for Christmas. Their blue and cool white branch wrap looks amazing, this is the first time I'm seeing it at night. They also have a roofline and ridge line in the same colors which is so fun looking. Imagine coming home to this every night. Another Final Walk Through! I wanted to show you guys that house from the video with the wasps nest. We put moonlights in the tree that had the wasps nest around this little bench. We wanted the house to be to focal point, so the other lighting is kind of understated. Night Time Video of a Recent Project! This is the same project I showed you guys the other day with the rock facade. I wanted to show you it at night so you can see how the lights highlight the natural texture of the rock. With the flood light behind it it brightens up the whole house. Is that really a thing? Texture and Lighting We just finished up the front of this illumination portrait and I wanted to show you guys something. We put up-lights on this rock facade so that the texture of the rock really comes alive, and then about three feet back we put some wash lights to light up the rest of the house. I've got mixed emotions. My Final Illumination Portrait of 2022! I'm here at my final illumination project of 2022, it's been an amazing year! I'm out here personally because our Christmas season just started and all of our guys are out decorating. This is Why I Don't Like to Leave the Office in October! So one of the reasons I don't like visiting client houses in October to do estimates is the Halloween decorations. I was just at a clients house and one of their decorations popped up and scared me so badly I jumped. Gemstone Lights With Landscape Lighting is Amazing! I wanted to show you guys what Gemstones and landscape lighting look like together. I have purple and orange on my Gemstones right now for Halloween, normally I have them on an architectural setting. I have uplighting on the home, which I turned off to show you guys the two different looks. Out at Home Depot. SANTA! I Know Him! I'm at Home Depot grabbing a few things and saw all these Christmas decorations! Everywhere you go you're going to be reminded that Christmas is coming. Went to the park with my son. At the Colonie Crossings on a Saturday I'm out with my son Anthony today I took him to the Crossings in Colonie here in Albany. We're playing Pokemon Go, so everyone is out here staring at their phones. I just wanted to remind you to get outdoors, hang out with you children or family and do stuff they enjoy too. It's low level lighting for when they're working out, you can still see what you're doing but it's dim enough so you don't feel like people are staring at you. Good idea, or not? Throwing Sticks at a Giant Wasps Nest... I was doing a walk through with our field team when we encountered a wasps nest. I just told them to throw some sticks at it if it became a problem. I think they'll be fine. https://barefootlighting.com/?p=2114
