Barefoot Landscape Lighting

Where did my contractor go? So my fence is almost completely done... until the last 25 feet. My contractor told me he would be back the following day or following Friday, and that was over two weeks ago! When working with other contractors it reminds me how important communication is with your clients, because now I have no idea what is going on with my fence. It's vital to be upfront and honest with your clients! https://barefootlighting.com/?p=1237

Mike Darling needs to come upgrade my outdoor kitchen! A Grill Fire I had to use my fire extinguisher on my grill today, it was pretty crazy and I've never had to do that before. It looks like I'll need Mike Darling from Upstate Backyard Kitchens to come and redo my outdoor kitchen. Remember to clean your grills! https://barefootlighting.com/?p=1234

I wanted to show you how I design for Christmas. Christmas Light Installation Design Mock Ups. I've had a couple people ask me how I design and do estimates for Christmas so I wanted to make a video to show you how I do it. I use MarkUp or Jolly Lights on my iPad, MarkUp is a little faster than Jolly Lights but Jolly Lights provides more detail. I use an Apple pencil for Jolly Lights because its more precise than my finger, I like all the different options Jolly Lights gives you for the design process. I usually use MarkUp on teh computer, but I just draw on the picture where I want the lights to be, I use different colors for the roofline, trees/bushes, garland, and brach wraps. I hope you have a good weekend! https://barefootlighting.com/christmas-light-installation-design-mock-ups/

Nothing says Christmas like 90 degree heat. Christmas in July?! I've been out doing Christmas estimates all day and it feels so weird doing them in 90 degree heat! We were out at a new clients house and the wife was making fun of her husband for calling so early, but thats actually perfect because as a new client there's no way to get you decorated before Thanksgiving unless you call now. We also have an early bird special going on through the end of August, so if you've been on the fence now would be the time to give us a call! https://barefootlighting.com/?p=1228

We needed a couple letters made that we don't have. Checking on Our New Marquee Letters Justin has been working on making us some new marquee letters! They are for rent for all kinds of events, and parties. https://barefootlighting.com/checking-on-our-new-marquee-letters/

I'm reading The E Myth Revisited. Read to Learn Everyday! Every day I try to read something and do a discovery stack about it, I'll show that in a different video. I'm currently reading The E Myth Revisited, it's about why most small businesses don't work, and how just because you're good at something it doesn't mean your business will work, that doesn't make you an entrepreneur. Have you read this book? What did you think? https://barefootlighting.com/?p=1220
